Worth checking if you’re box is set to 4k. Mine had reverted back to 1080p after the recent update.

It might be that they don’t have the right for the premier league in 4k, but I reckon champions league should be 4k.
 
It is 4k, if you change to RMC Sport 1 they have the same game on and the picture is slightly better on the UHD channel, audio is french

It would only be 4k if the channel your watching on those packages is transmitting in 4k mate .

Sounds about right. Even on sky, you don’t notice too much of an upgrade with footy on 4k. But after watching a few matches, you’ll notice a downgrade if you go back to a normal hd picture.
 
I've just looked on lyngat on 5w and there is mention of about 5 sky italian sports channels under Mediaset. The rest look like rai channels. I don't see a lot mentioned on SKY italia. I'm going to have to take a look at this sat maybe when i get home.
 
Does anyone know of a way to transfer recorded files from the USB stick in my Viark 4K to my windows 10 computer by FTP or networking as I prefer to record my races rather than watch them live but the fast forwards on the box is terrible, so I would rather have them on my computer and play them back onto my TV or projector from there.

Not possible to ftp on those boxes

glitch free and excellent picture - miles better than the glitching BT sports.

I wish I had learnt French in my school days. Which Radio channel is in perfect sync to listen the English commentary ?

If you've got IPTV and a soundbar try playing the match on BT Sport via IPTV on your phone / tablet or computer and casting it to the soundbar. I've tried this before with success on Euro sat sport channels on my e2 box. You may have to live pause RMC first to get the sync perfect.

Before S Sport on 42e was opened and I got my Viark I'd usually watch the games on Sky Sport Deutschland as I can understand at least some of the commentary.

Had to give up on RMC UHD. 1st half of PSG vs City was fine then started buffering like crazy at half time. Switched over to DAZN Bar 1 on 19.2e now.

Might try again in a bit.

Just pull the usb stick and put it into you PC

posted this before but in addition to the soundbar phone tablet combo you can use a NOWTV box to pause Radio 5, Talksport or local radio by as much as you need to and play that into the sound system. The boxes cost next to nothing and do a great job for syncing comms
