Did not know

The Indian IT guys i worked alongside with were on western wages, ..

Spot on mate. Skilled jobs there the salaries match what you get here.

I am also sure the lifestyle there is pretty comfortable to live and those who want to live there will do so and are currently.

Its a big misconception that India is a "poor" country. Compared to the UK, China, US sure it is.

But their economy is growing rapidly every year. Won't be long until they reach the UK and US as a big economy.

Thats a minority though mate top 25%

75% of Indians earn £280 or less a Month. With 25% of the country on a mere £160 a Month. £40 a week!

Totally agree, 90% of Indians do not have a bank account. Modi kicks indians when they are down continually. But the richest families in India live alongside the poorest..

Yeah it’s crazy. I’ve heard they’ve just brought in a E-mandate that prevents recurring payments in India on debit cards. That’s how poor some places are that they have to physically pay each month for Gas/Electric etc rather that just using a direct debit.

Less said about Modi the better.

The worst government India could have asked for.

it's not a rip off if millions of people will happily pay for it.

it's not like some of the upfront costs the broadcasters pay are unknown - the shell out billion or so for each year.

the cameras and tech

the talent presenting

the infrastructure

the technicians etc

what is a fair return for that investement?

well millions feel the prices charged ar worth it - they'd likely pay more [it would be a remarkable coincidence if the price exactly matched the value offered to customers]

if it's not worth it to you, fine.

but in a voluntary market there is no rip -off. people have other options
My point exactly bud
I dont get all this "India is peanuts for sports ect... its a poor country so the average wage is 200/300 a month, so there tv is cheap otherwise who's going to afford it, in regards to the UK, its a rich country with decent wages, how is it a rip off? Vermin full package is

Full tv package
600gb broadband
Phoneline
Sim card with unlimited everything
2 vermin boxes
90 quid a month

How is this expensive ?? And 100% I agree with @TheSource.... it could be 20 quid a month and some on here would still cry about it, if 90 quid a month for all that is "being ripped off" by the likes of sly and vermin then my god you MUST IMO moan about everything you buy in life, you can't compare the prices in India and what the people of that country have to pay compared to the UK its actually embarrasing and ridiculous 🤣🤣🤣 if you wanna pay that, f### off to India then and let us know how you get on over there compared to your standard of living in the UK👍🏻👍🏻
couldn’t agree more bud surprised they don’t moan about price of big roll 🤣🤣🤣

I suppose when you look at this way 2 iptv subs 2 plex subs on 2 boxes £97.50 a year it is expensive even @ 90 a month. You get much more content with iptv aswell and not a million miles off the same pic quality.

Agreed but I don't feel 90 notes a month for legit is expensive when you get full tv, broadband, unlimited sim card and phoneline

Fair enough it isn't for everyone.

There really are some amazing beautiful places there and also rundown areas. But you get that nearly anywhere you go.

UK is far from perfect imo

India is mineral rich,
Space programme, oil wealthy. Tourism in the South, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, BMW, all built in India. Not to shabby.
Not forgetting Airtel, cheapest network I have used.

I don't know CK most people in the UK don't appreciate what we have

It's called cheap labour stuss. Compared to European costs of labour.

Not to mention IPL is one of the biggest sporting leagues in the world and is get much much bigger financially from next year.

No doubt wealthy benefit moreso than the poor there but even certain areas of the country the working class are doing well for themselves.

Then easy answer I'm sure for some would be to kick them out lol.

I was born here and respect everything my family and I have here and everything that is provided to the public . You can't say the same for alot of countries for sure.

But like I said there are still problems and UK is far from perfect but I personally wouldn't go anywhere else.

Look at China where all the iPhones are made most working class people can't afford one.

The rich do very well but like most of these countries there is no middle ground.
