One thing I am not sure of If I have 2 receivers, can both be connected to motorised system via twin or quad lnb.

Yes you can, only one will control the dish though. Alternatively, you can use a priority switch if you only will be using one receiver at a time.

Had my GT media a month and 28e SS have been perfect (watched the cricket,) but footy season has started and been looking at 16.e today and 30w yesterday even though it's green the channels keep saying encrypted every 2 mins and I have to switch back and forth for it to clear . Annoying. Is this a common issue , any solutions

No issues here on 16e, using viark

No the viark boxes get the hd channels.

i do have a GTMedia and that works perfect but i also have an old zgemma box. reckon that could work on e2 for hd channels?

I have a motorised and a static dish going through a diseqc switch to a Viark Sat and a TM5402, You can feed the 2 sats to one dish easily enough using a switch

I've got a dc bypass splitter from my motorised dish feeding both qviart/viark and vu+plus. I just have to run one at a time.

Yeah use a priority switch simple enough with a vu+ and GT . May get a 2nd dish.

How do they work? If e.g. the vu+ is the "master" and the GT the "slave" what happens when both are powered on?

Not actually tried it with both boxes on , I sure someone else can answer. I have always hadt he other box off be I powered the other on.

I thought I had one, but I think it was an ordinary power pass through switch, that if using one box had to be powered off.
