Did anyone use to participate in taking mdma when younger?

Never too late baz. I use Cubase pro but there are lots of all in 1 programs like,Propellerheads Reason,FL Studio,Ableton Live,and Acid Pro and plenty of you tube videos to help you. You just need a half decent PC and a set of speakers. Reason is good for d+b .There is a site called vs torrent where you can get pretty much download anything to do with music creation. There are a few ads on the site but you can get everything for free.

Anyone remember Dole house in Peckham, London. It was an actual Dole Office that got squatted by travellers and got turned into a Rave venue. It went on for nearly a year until it got closed down. People even came from Europe it was that good.They even had their own security to keep the police out.They had the main rave downstairs and also had live bands upstairs. Bands like Cardiacs and subhumans. Spiral Tribe held Raves there also. You would not get away with that now.
 
Crazy daisy's was the one near us on the A45 between Coventry and Warwick.

I am led to beleive it Is a swingers club now. It appeared on channel 4 or channel 5
 
It wasn't really the same after it become commercialised I think I went to 4 or 5 never seen one fight. Mind you evreybody was popping pills.

Quite a few DJs made there name on the scene Fat Boy Slim ,tall Paul etc

Use to love it back then not to sure I could do it now like.

Mood swings are all over the shop now and I swear my car talks about me ha 🤣😅😭

Not sure it's the drugs or just me In general lol 🤣

My head went once. Around 5 years ago . Felt awful and I don't ever go to the doctor's.

Told them my head had gone and I didn't feel right. Told them everything I felt.

Was really hard.

And all the doctor said was well what do you want me to do?...

Maybe lose weight and try a free app to calm down.

I know I'm over weight. I'm on my feet sometimes 12 hours a day and I manage 20,000 steps most days walking the dog..

Lets just say I won't go the doctors no more unless I'm dying.

I have been the doctors three of four time and been told the same thing.. lose weight it will help.

Thats to a continuous cough I had for twelve months, my head falling off , and vericoles Google ha 🤣

And that's getting worse by the year 😭

Don't beat yourself up mate.. According to Google I am going through Menaupause..

That's really crap from the Doctor. If you still have times like that a lot of counselling services through the NHS are self referral so you don't even need the Doctor's say so to go.

Cheers. Been okay since. Moods are all over the shop. Can go happy sad unknown back to normal in a hours.
 
Think it was a mixture of working 70-80 hour weeks to being given hardly any hours. Working with a agency for a massive company.

To be told in the beginning to smash the hours and you will be full time soon enough

To them just fooking us all off. No cares given.

They rinse and repeat this still to this day

Felt like a failure to my family and that. From earning between £700 too the most £900 a week to earning £320 a week was hard.

I left a steady job of 19 years to do this too.

Neve mind. I seem okay as long as I don't do nights

Just come off nights again as I seen patterns occuring
 
It's good that you've seen the early signs and taken action mate. Wouldn't wanna do nights myself. Crazy amount of hours you were working there! I've done a bit of overtime this summer but 52.5 hours was the most I'd do in total per week and that was too much tbh!

I think adapting to sleeping in the day would be the difficulty for me - like when it's a heatwave in summer sometimes it's too hot to sleep at night so it must be mega uncomfortable during the day and I like a solid 8 hours kip.

Sometimes I got 5 hours sleep. Wasn't the best part. Yes summer was mega hard especially in the six weeks holidays
