Broadband Retentions leaving Virgin question - Price increase

To the members who are on Youfibre @Ferret. Not sure who else is on it , missus got sent an email , to set up an online account now , to view details etc . Not sure if it's a scam email.

been with them 18m now, 900mb for £25 pm, only been 1 down time in all that
I was on about this with folk ive got to move to them from Virgin.

No one as yet has been offline. While neighbours on Virgin have had the odd outage.

Carn't wash ya car without someone asking is Virgin down for you 😆 In i jump with a referral 😊

I am paying £35pm 1100 meg download speeds with virgin youfibre looked like £33 a month for 900 meg not worth moving. Had virgin 5 years can't remember it going down

speed test from own asus router, also remember same up/download speed

Good thing about CityFibre is that there are loads of suppliers depending on your location and you can jump on the new customers offers when your contract is near its end and can barter with your existing supplier for a price match.
I can’t fault CF network so far and glad I moved from VM.
Also no blocks on anything is a bonus.
Had a leaflet from Toob for fibre £25 a month for 900mb.

Never been blocked on VM to be fair I use a vpn because I want to. But thete is no real need

i was with vm over 20 years and never had a landline to house so when this company sent me a leaflet i jumped for £25 pm, 900 mb up/down 2 year contract with no price hikes, there is also another alternative to cable fibre in my area called grain so when my 2 years are up will see what they are doing, i only liked vm for the news servers but i go elsewhere for that now, their retention was about a day

Grain is who I'm with.

I meant torrent sites mainly but I left because they were more expensive than CF suppliers.
You also can’t change the dns on the VM hub and you have to use your own router to do so.

I have just switched from virgin after 13 years to BRSK 2000mb up and down.

Plug my own router straight into the BRSK wall connection.

Easy as pie, great speeds!
