Unicable works really well on those normal sky dishes too. was a bit worried if that failed cos i needed unicable for my normal UK channels

Worked a charm having the channel list pre-loaded. I havent fully tested everything out but i get thor 16.e 19.2 havent tested other yet. Signal looks good on all these channels and the prioroty swicth worked really well in that i can use viark and vu to control motor when i need to.

Big thanks to everyone here on the help and support. Sorry for all the questions but you guys are really helpful.

Yh he did a good job

So was playing around with it but its strange. So browsing hotbird freq and some of the FTA channels work fine but when i try go to Aljazera HD news it says no signal. They are on the same satellite so that does not make sense.

Another thing is he set my longitute angle at 000.1 which worked fine for the rest of the satellites even though it says it should be something else according to dishpointer etc

strange my VU ultimo plays aljazehd news perfectly fine but my VIARK just stays dark. Something is strange there
 
What's your settings on the vu , and signal quality on 0.8 w then I'd check furthest east and west sat you can get.

How long did it take him curious

Erm OK I'll get back to you with the settings

Took him around 2 hours but around 15 mins if it was sorting my cables out
 
To be honest I much prefer using my enigma2 receiver then the viark.
And oscam is pretty good for super sports. I had them both on at the same time and forever server glitched once or twice but oscam was flawless while watching the match so far.
 
Is there a clear list on what packages open with sp2 forever and oscam?
Would be helpful to know other than uk hd sports whst else sp2 server opens than oscam can't

All the channels that are open in sp2 appear in yellow on each satellite. The ones that open in oscam are down to your server. Different servers open different packages.

Yh I get the oscam server depends . Assuming you have the server that is possible to open/clear it would be nice to see a comparison.

7w is odd one to pick up but you could try Qatar tv hd. it seems strong tonight though. You are much further south than me though.

So that's a bit misleading on signal finder on 7w it's not picking up anything but when I go to a few channels on 7w. I get picture

Guess there is much more to learn.

HI Guys

I seem to be having an issue with astra UK channels and signal lost. I havent used my viark in a few days and just was using it now but i am getting signal issues. So some of the sky sports HD channels work and some dont. None of the TNT sports channels are working. I dont get it, it was working perfectly when i had my guy in and we checked everything.
Is there anything i can do to help fix this?

Its like the channels ending in V in the code is a problem but H is ok. but TNT is H and it is really poor.

Do i need to rescan for channls or change anything?
