FYI - I use an adblocker on my laptop (so I don't see most of the adverts or issues). However I also use YouTube a lot on Android TV and on my Phone. I love the fact with Premium you can start a video and then lock your phone screen and the audio continues to play. This is great if I'm out walking the dog and want to listen to a YouTube podcast.

I genuinely don't understand why you wouldn’t use the method I posted! It is much safer, and for the same price (£40), you can have your own family account that you can share and fully control. I have been using this method for two years now, and all my friends and family have their own accounts. I'm really confused as to why you would want to go through all this hassle with Gamsgo!

Different strokes for different folks

You say my method of using Gamsgo is a hassle, however, when I look at the method you use I see that as a BIG hassle, far more steps and hoops to jump through. Gamsgo seem to be upfront and will work on any issues if it goes wrong. If your method stops working then there is no comeback.

I won't judge people for whatever method they want to choose.
 
I've just gone the recharge route cost me £36 for 12 month , think I must have had longer left on my family plan than thebesh it took 3 days altogether as they are so busy.
I like this route because I like to watch it on the tv screens.
Oh it now comes with music.
 
Just to add to this. I have just used the recharge route on Gamsgo and it has just gone live today. It took less than the time they quoted and all is good, at present :laughing:

I had an issue where Google was blocking them signing into the email account. I logged into email account and confirmed "this was me" to Google. I've sent off the details again to Gamsgo and hoping they don't block it. I will say their AI chat bot is pretty good for help (coming from someone that is anti-AI)

This method was the worst one for me. I went through all the steps, created the new Apple ID, only for Apple to block the account the next day. I spoke to Apple support and they wouldn't budge and said they'd detected I had broken the T&Cs.

Technically you can attempt to sign up to YouTube Premium from most countries using a VPN, however that is not the problem....

YouTube have enabled address verification in most/all regions when the payment is being made. So unless your bank address is registered in the same country as the VPN location you are connected to, it's not going to work.
 
Hi guys ,

There is YouTube Revanced manager you can use alongside downloading the original YouTube android app and "patching" the app to remove ads and adding premium features to the app.

If you are not into that there is Smartube (mike123 pointed out) and also newpipe with newpipe having the ability to download movies and videos .

I know a lot of these paid accounts can be hit and miss. I've been using YouTube revanced on my phone for years and Smartube on Nvidia shield for just as long, no adverts and they are free.

I just done it through the Apple method with Turkish Apple ID seems to be good will update in a month or so 🤞🏻 it’s all good

I'm paying around £1.70/month for YouTube Premium. What I did was buy £40 worth of Apple gift cards from Amazon India, then created a new Apple ID registered in India and redeemed the gift cards there. Subscribed to YouTube Premium, and that should cover me for about 2 years at this rate.
