What device will allow you to get the UK TV apps loaded on ,ie itv,4, etc if I switch from a firestick

Nearly all of them, if you sideloaded them. Most of the Google ones.

There is some videos of the transpeed box on YouTube seems ok. Seems to hang abit when choosing 4k on YouTube but works ok once the video plays

If you want full resolution and UHD on iplayer you will need a device with the correct UK catchup licenses so official certified decides that are sold under UK licence.
Amazon, Google streamers,Shield and Apple TV or just install them on your Smart Tv.
Thomson devices don’t have the correct licenses but you will still be able to sideload them by getting the APK’s from sites.

Ordered a transpeed box from aliexpress, didn't realise that there are a number of different options on the specification, made the mistake and ordered the 2gb version instead of the 4gb one.

Some come with no power leads, and state may not boot. If TV output voltage is low. Read up. ⚡

You can do this with Onn 4k plus devices that doesn’t have an Ethernet port so technically it should be possible.
You will just need the correct Ethernet adapter.

I tested it with the normal amazon firestick adapter and it seemed to work, however there is no facilities on the 140 to inform you that you are connected via wired connection, but everything was working as it should, so i guess a normal firestick adapter will work

They have them on alibaba for £12.95 with power leads and choice of plug but minimum was 2 orders and not sure about postage.
