ABOUT TIME ( DITCH THOSE FIRE STICKS )

Hi hope im not wasting ppl time
but i done what it says in this video and my firestick doest take an update , (says update error )and i have beetv and cinema hd on my firestick i can also side load from ADB link
i was and still am on software version
fire OS 6.7.1.1 (NS6711/5879

No need to update the stick if its all working properly

Implement these settings that will help

AMAZON FIRE STICKS/CUBES

Disable everything and it will stop them monitoring what you are using.

1) Go into settings - Appstore

2) Automatic Updates - Select (OFF)

3) In-App Purchases - Select (OFF)

4) Notifications - Select (OFF)

To disable Amazon monitoring

GO INTO SETTINGS

1) Preferences

2) Privacy Settings

3) Device Usage Data (OFF)

4) Manage sharing from apps (OFF)

5) Collect App Usage Data (OFF)

6) Interest-Based Ads (OFF)

Disable Featured Content

1) Settings

2) Select Preferences

3) Featured Content

4) Turn off both Allow Video Autoplay and Allow Audio Autoplay

There is one point to consider if you are using supplier apps and they ate working you should in theory never need to update. But if using a official app a system app maybe needed

Just side load any official apps and turn everything else off and no updates to stop any app blocking.

To disable Amazon monitoring on your Fire Stick, go to Settings > Preferences > Privacy Settings and turn off options like Device Usage Data, Collect App Usage Data, and Interest-Based Ads. Additionally, you should disable other features that collect data or serve ads, such as Featured Content

My transpeed 8k won’t connect to my WiFi just fails. Says connected but no connection or ip address. Tried for two days now meh
