UHD judder on Gigablue UHD UE 4K

Newbie
When watching UHD there is a noticeable judder. Can anyone recommend any settings, be it service type or resolution?

TIA

Aha the dreaded judder. You would need to give a more detailed outline, what are you watching?

How old is the box and I bet the judder has been there quite a while.

What image are you using?

ps just noticed this was in IPTV!!

Do you get the same IPTV service judder when used on a device other than the UE ?

@Ferret. There is no judder when watching on my ipad.

@bmitie I am watching the darts live on IPTV. Image version is Openvix 6.7.007. HDD is internal. Box is around two/three years old. Service type is 4097, though not sure of thatwill make a difference.

If you cast the Ipad to the TV do you see the judder ?

Start by trying the different HDMI ports on your TV there not all equal.

Try turning off motion smoothing or enabling filmmaker mode in your tv settings

It was over on WOS and the outcome was person got a duo4k, problem solved, it went a bit deeper but thread was deleted. This is from memory and I only know because I was getting a new box. I got the duo4kse and steered clear of gigablue.

Hope that makes sense.

Tbh its of no help whatsoever but thanks for reply.

I remember the thread too. It is probably an HDMI handshake issue that affects some TVs/displays. The GB Quad 4K I bought from a member here has been sat in a box because it has issues with my display device. The plethora of other receivers I have do not have an issue with my display.

Unless the thread starter has a new TV, or changed settings on receiver/TV, the problem will have been there since he had it. He's not answered the question about how long he's had the problem.
