I'm planning to replace a zone 1 dish for my Dad that's above the gable and suffers severe break ups on 28.2e from leaves on trees opposite.
With a LOS for most of the easterly sats from the front of the house extremely difficult, I'm considering installing a motorised dish on a north facing wall round the back overlooking the main roof to gain distance.
He was using Satback when it was on 27.5w due to a lack of options as there aren't any trees at this end of the arc. That was with a zone 2 dish on the front which could be moved to 30w and combined with the new install.
We have a Technomate 2300 motor and a Gigablue UE UHD receiver already.
Considering a 65cm Triax dish, around 24" t&k's, around an 8' x 50mm pole, V bolts and wall bolts etc. Also been recommended a 68cm Fracarro Penta aluminium dish and an 'H' type bracket.
There's an extension roof at the back that I could stand on to do the work where the main gutter is at around chest height. Any thoughts appreciated.
