Hi all, I have a quick question to see if anyone has experienced something similar. I have a 7–8-year-old Samsung TV. I don't remember the exact series, but it was one of the higher-end models at the time.
Recently, the TV has started disconnecting from the internet (WiFi) every a couple of weeks (or sometimes every couple of days).
What's strange is that the TV still shows it's connected to the Wi-Fi, but it says there's no internet connection. The apps on the TV stop working, even though the internet is working fine on other devices in the house.
I also have a Homatics box connected to it via an Ethernet cable, and I'm wondering if that could somehow be causing interference, or if the TV itself might be developing a fault.
Not everyone in the house uses the apps on the Homatics box, so I'd still like to keep the TV connected to Wi-Fi.
I'm trying to remember if this all started after Virgin Media installed their new router back in March (Hub 5), but I feel like it's only been happening over the past couple of months.
Has anyone run into this before or have any ideas what might be causing it?
