The servers have gone down theres no signal being sent so no matter what you do it wont come on been kff for a few weeks now not looking good hope this helps.
 
hey ppl :D
after a while my dad returned the box he got without the dongle and got his money back woop.
so i ordered another one off the internet for him.
we got it yesterday and i had a go at setting it up for him.
i got so far (not very) and encountered a problem

when you say dooby "select SW+ALL DATA UPDATE" what do you mean?
all i see when i select the file on the usb is "S/W upgrade" and "boot loader upgrade" theres no "all" option, is this what you mean? or am i just being a muppet?

Jimmy smirk if this for the cable side off a SV combo or SV7 don't waste your time as the servers been offline for the last 4 weeks, if it's the combo go down the sat side if its SV7 don't put any software on it and get a full refund and invest in a780 kryptview
 
ok, new problem,
i got the sv7 off dcreceivers.com and the refund policy says ill have to give a 20% restocking fee.
how can i get around that?
should i contact them directly and be honest with them asking for a swap for the kryptview box? and to pay the difference
or what should i say to tell em its faulty?

*update*
my mum contacted consumer rights to ask or advice and they told her to send a letter requesting a full refund without any charge.
however, now, the dcreciever website states on their returns policy
"Our receivers are covered by a standard 12 months manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers hardware only we do not tolerate illegal software. Any software found to be installed on your receiver WILL void your warranty, we will not accept returns. "
ive installed the carling flash but removed it by restoring factory defaults, can they find out if carlings been on it or am i safe?

we are in direct cotact with them today so a reply asap would be ideal.

Just wanna say a huge tyhank you for this info

I have been with out channels fro monthsand the the person who I got the box of said thats there nothing I could do about it which was a huge lie.

This has been a steep lerning cureve but hope to learn as much as i can

Install showmustgoon.ups
When installed do a factory reset, then scan your channels again, go to sly sports 1 and press 1819 it will say enabled! Wait a couple of minutes and you should be back on!

If not check ur Internet connection

thanks for that. + i installed the old carling firmware but then the new firmware is out and i cant put that on it now. its showing up but its just not installing like the last one
 
when i put the usb stick in and go to utility then usb, the starview thing shows up but then when i click on it nothing happens, really struggling here.
