Do you all think it does much? I used without on ibox for years and only started on 2s but other than small improvement im not sure it helped more than hindered as box becomes unresponsive when running.
 
I don't really care what it does in the background, all I know is the manual memory clean is very useful when my box was becoming sluggish with an old *cough* 11mb skin.
 
Im sorry dude. I did notice u said it in that bad quote u showed me bit i have two types of evenings.

Looking forward to the finished skin dude. Even if im to old to get away from.the other one. With my eysight i love that it uses the whole screen so everything seems bigger and easier to read, and that it works on smaller screens too.
But if its ok with you id like to install yours along side too?

But if streaming works again on urs it might just be the kick i need lol

I said last week, that this week would probably be the last major week of working on it. Hence the big tidy up. We will see what gets done this weekend. Then that will probably be it for the regular updates. There might be one (whats left release after that - some time in the near future). I would say next weekend at the very latest you will be able to install it in one of your builds with out having to worry about constant updates. My announcement of my retirement from this project is drawing closer ;) (Thank feck for that)

Welcome to techkings. On every other thread i am nice and answer your questions. Just not on this thread. This thread is strictly about my skin. If you are new you need to read the forum rules in the main forum. Also read all the stickies at the top of general satellites.
 
Hi kiddac I'm not sure if it's related but while running abm I had a blank screen with progress bar but normally when it runs you can still watch what's on

I reflashed to openatv 5.1 - how do I check what version of the skin is running? On the info panel it says 1.6 - is that because you've just not updated that screen?

as per above i take it the info screen just isn't updated. My info screen says 1.6 also but I did a clean install on 1.7. The speed on mine doesn't appear any faster at the moment.

I switched to OpenATV 5.1 but it was sluggish, if anyone's interested, I'm now using Vix (see below) and the skin is RAPID. Really impressive work Kiddac, seriously amazing.

My abm still shows the search bar at the bottom overlayed over the tv picture. I will have a look though. Maybe it was just the channel you were on.

Right guys and girls. I am going to spend a good few hours on this today. I still have some default screens to do, like harddisk selection, network plugin pages and wizards. This will leave me about 50 screennames/elements left that I have no idea what they do, where they live, whether they are even relevant to zgemma on vix or openatv. They might even be specific to other builds like openpli or other older boxes. I will post a list of these elements later to see if anyone knows where/what they are.

After that I am done. Therefore now is the time to fully test your skin. Test every page. Test every menu, Test every option. Go through the motions of everything you use. There are propably screens you have used that I don't even know exist. Do scans, do updates, do backups, do downloads. I need to know what is broke (screenshots required). I need to know what in your opinion isn't skinned (screenshots required). I need to know what popular plugins you use that I might be able to skin.

for me on vix its just cross epg

apart from that everything else is perfect i don't know what those other screens are for either
 
akki007 I don't think that can be skinned individually anyway. Its just classed as a choice box. If I skinned that all choice boxes what have to use the same template. Which means any little choice pop up would have to be put into a menu template. Bit of any overkill for small popups.
