your volume button should just work. if its not see if you have hdmi-cec settings turned on. if so, turn them off.

I have just managed to skin xmltvimporter and crossepg. The code was hiding away in the vix default skin. So this will please some people.

Great work kiddac, can you put on a sub menu into the EPG menu for searching through the channel's for entertainment movies and documentaries?
 
Kiddac i think this is a skin issue the icon on epg top left used to change when you selected a channel witch was great but its no long doing this i had checked picon folder its all fine on hdd root they show on history zap fine also if I change epg setting to picon and service name they show too?

this is already possible press the up arrow on you remote it shows channels but if you press menu and change option to show bouquets on start to yes it will then show all your bouquets e.g movies, entertainment etc on start up

or if you want the bouquets to show on epg when it loads open epg then press menu and change show bouquets on start to yes it will then show all your bouquets e.g movies, entertainment etc on start up

hope you wasn't talking about tabs kiddac wont be happy!

It's commented out in the xml. it's somewhere back in this thread so have a scan and then edit the xml when kiddac releases the next version

I suspect to retain the authentic sky look and feel. I prefer it without, I only have picons in the top left of the EPG.
 
if you are referring to the picon on the infobar. See the first post. It's explained on that graphic. There is a post buried somewhere on this thread of what xml file to edit. I can't be bothered searching for it though. That's your job ;)

And don't worry when I finally say enough is enough (of this never ending project), I will start a new post that will have all the settings and tweaks, without all the waffle in between.

not infobar mate ive seen that one am taking about on muliti epg in the top left corner its just shows below image for all channels before it used to change to the channel picon

smithonline you can easily take screenshots with your computer.
Type in your boxes ip address into the address bar. i.e 192.168.1.101
This will open up openwebif. There is a screen grab option there. grab a screenshot. right click. save to computer. Upload here.

Looking at the code for the epg picon all seems right. I will download some picons and have a look for you.

Works fine for me, not a skin issue, must be a setting you have switched off in a menu

Ok cheers been looking in all menus but nothing seems to turn em off / back on

Dint now you could do that for screenshots allot easier lol cheers
 
I have just tested picons. they are working fine if you press the epg button. Both in the epg and at the top left of the template. (this is on VIX).

Some screens do default to the default icon as there is no way of pulling the particular channels picon in. But epg, channel select, infobar etc (if code changed) do bring in the picon.

I know I couldn't find it's screenname ( I tried ).
I will get round to your network plugins tomorrow evening hopefully.

I am glad you have commented. Spend all day on this, upload a new file and nobody says boo to a goose. Thankyou.
