1 - ok to use internal hdd for EPG rather than usb?
2 - ok to use your mg cam files.zip with this box?
3 - which option to use\select under CI - Softcam Manager - cccam.2.0.9 or cccam2.3.0 or mgcamd.1.35a or mgcamd.1.38

Managed to sort it and have working channels using a test C line
I've now used a test of both lines but notice any difference between the two... Is there a reason why most people dont do the C line? maybe less stable?

It won't take an internal Hdd just External, then you don't need the USB stick.
Files in the guide are fine and work without any issues.
I download all 4 cams to the box, I put my line in the Newcamd.list and the CCcam.cfg file.

N lines are generally best run in Mg Cam 1.38 but I set it up initially with the four cams so I can switch between cams if I have any issues.

You can only have one cam active at a time.
 
so you saying to upload 2 files from zip (edited newcamd.list & mg_cfg), does mg_cfg need any change? than upload 2 files to 4 softcam folders on miraclebox but select\use mg cam 1.38?

apologies for my ignorance.....

Download mg cam 1.38 from the plugin menu

Put your line in newcamd.list, you don't need to do anything with Mg_cam file just send both files to usr\keys.

Switch on the cam.

Play about with different cams later, get your box working first 👍
 
Ok, I need some help, I have followed everything for a VM set up after transferring from Kryptview but I've got stuck. I have scan for channels and its recognized around 370 channels which is great, however, I am only able to get ITV, channel 4 and channel 5, nothing else is working, I am also getting error messages on screen that say the following:

"Service not found! (SID not found in PAT)"
"Tune failed"

I did notice when I did my Auto Bouquet Maker that I had another random provider in there, Kobal or something??

Also I received a test server to try which was sent in the format C= blahblah@blah.com test test1, how do I put this into the CWS= format? Is it literally:

CWS = blahblah@blah.com test test1 or do I need the 01 02 03..... Etc on the end? And do I have both lines with the same info I see in the set up guide it has a line for vm.server and a line for tv.server? Do I just change the one line?

Network ID does it matter which Manchester one I use? I have used them all in the past is 41060 ok?

Does it matter which CCcam I download there were a few options, do I just download the latest version or all of them?

Is that jsut the mg_cfg and newcamd.list files that need to be in the Keys folder as I currently also have files named SoftCam.key & cccamd.list in there also?
 
if your running a nline then 2 folders needed sent to usr/keys newcamd.list and mg_cfg and the cam used is mgcamd 1.38

cline is sent to etc,you may have to setup CCcam if not on the image you use and the cam used is cccam 2.30.
 
Hi There normally ok with these things but not today just purchased a miraclemini hybrid from wos with vix preloaded startred to follow tutorial untill the tuner set up its a single cable tuner so thats the only option shown pressed ok it dose not allow input of net id ect but goes to scan later and set up network
cant find a way to go back
turned of box when comes back on it boots straight to vix page any way to begin set up again

You can do a factory reset as you have only just started the set up or
you can go into the menus and set the net id in "tuner configuration"
and carry on from there
 
Sorry if this has been asked already, but i've spent ages looking around these forums for the answer to this.
Where do i find the "my line details" that i need to paste into newcamd.list. I am try to connect to VM ?

i know my ip address but as for user/password ????

Any help greatly appreciated.
 
User is root/ password is password I think

then usr/keys/edit new and.list copy and paste line/restart mgcam

Have you bought a box ready to use, or do you have to set it up? if it came set up, your line should be on it already. Thanks for your reply. I have a VM line already. Just trying to connect ZGemma H1 to it. Get all channels picked up ok.
But can't get any of them working.
