Why how comes you don't have your region channels in providers have you chosen your area custom not sd or HD?

If you don't have the hd versions of your region and using channel swap it will choose another hd region I've always had this issue and set channel swap to no so sd channels showed first.
Then lincsat showed me how to edit the sat_282_sky_uk.xml to show my sd region channels have a look here http://www.techkings.org/zgemma-star-h-2s/85681-itv-regions-autobouquets.html

Just flashed to this image, put line in...(first time i have used this "gift")

Am only receiving a couple channels at the moment , even fta channels ... does it take a while to full the channels up ? im on vermin cable.

No it is instant. FTA should be showing as soon as you flash your box.

It might be worth checking your signal strength and connections if you have those missing too.

What is missing from FTA? And what premium channels do you have? just name a couple.

this worked perfect, now got bbc1 yorks/lincs on 101 and itv yorks east on 103....perfect thanks.

No it is instant. FTA should be showing as soon as you flash your box.

It might be worth checking your signal strength and connections if you have those missing too.

What is missing from FTA? And what premium channels do you have? just name a couple.

I run a service scan and get hundreds of channels .... ran the bouquet maker, only some of the fta are showing bbc / itv , only non fta so far is sly news ...?

I deleted all bouquets and did a rescan (380 video 37 audio), and ran auto bouquet.

now they are all populated with the correct info ... i can access all fta now , but only sly news... on non fta so far.

from my user/keys directory is here my is newcamd.list is case it is wrong... i have remove my gift details.

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = server.name port user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

I got a zgemma star 2s box today and it's running openatv 5.1 on it (that's what it came like) and I'm struggling to load the sky menu and firmware to it or even get my newcamd.list and Cccam.cfg on it to watch anything would anybody be able to help at all please

A scan should return about 909 channels, using the settings that were done in the image and that is without any line info put on the box. It sounds like your cable plugs need remaking or screwing back on, your sat cable is dodgy, your LNB is dying or your sat dish is out a little bit. That needs to be sorted before trying to give help with your line.

Select the Sky 1 channel and then go into the signal finder to check what sort of signal you are getting. I have just done it on a clean image without my line added and have 70%+ signal strength for Sky1
Menu -> Setup ->Service Searching -> Signal finder.

You need to do a search for Kiddac's Setup Guide as this will go step by step on setting up a box from scratch using OpenATV 5.1, it is where I started and what my build is based on. It is a great guide and when followed will have your box setup and running. Don't be scared to start again if you need to. It is all good practice.

Spot on selecta, with no line you have freesat. Minimum size, would be no less than 16gb I would say personally. This will do timeshift and have a film or two recorded. I have an external 320gb HDD plugged in so space on a whole isn't an issue. I would opt for a 32gb stick for about £10 from asda etc if you can't do a HDD.

Yes it will.

I don't know where you got your 512gb stick from, and I am not saying it is a cheap one from a certain auction site, but I bought a 256gb from said site just to see how bad it would be. Terrible! I managed to record and then watch one film and by the time I got to the end of the film the file name was corrupt to hell and then the file was unreadable so it went in the bin.

Total loss £3.99 lmao

No sorry jay, this image only works with the H2S and H2H

There are images on here which will work with your box though. Have a look in the downloads section.

mgcamd is alive and well, but i can only view fta channels, the bouquests have created will all the other non fta channels ?

I am i missimg something ?

After you put your line on the box did you setup the cam in step 6 of the instructions?
