abm is a scan that puts channels into favourites,like all sports in sports bouquet,all movies in movie bouquet.etc etc.

ok so box is great only thing is getting different aspect ratios when on movies its a narrow picture sports is full screen so not sure way ?
 
it's not the box it is what the channel is transmitting, sometimes movies show as wide screen
(as in the pictures type wide screen) so you get a band across the top and bottom
 
Absolutely a cracking guide just what I needed, I have one question though, you set your second tuner to cable, I only have the sky dish so I set it exactly same as tuner A is that correct, I ask as when I do the scan I immediately get half a dozen Channel 4's at the top of the list and when checking the EPG full TV guide I have a lot of channel duplications so I think somewhere I've gone wrong ??
 
Hi ive done everything, but when i scan for channels it just say reading virgin uk services: 374 video but i dont get a list like in the tutorial, so its like theres no channels and nothing in the EPG?

Did you press the down arrow then blue for favourites?
 
just following bees instructions and i'm upto the part where it says " please set up tuner A" but it's not showing tuner B. ive skipped past the tuner A but there is no option for tuner B

no it only has one tuner in and one tuner out! shall i just set it up on tuner A??

okay so i think i've sussed out my network idea is my pass word for my rooter/wifi!! how do i find my symbol rate??? do just use the one bees has in the guide??

I've downloaded the attached files at the bottom of bees guide but the newcamd.list file won't open!!

Double click the file and open it with notepad 👍
 
Ok, open notepad, do

file - "save as" call the file newcamd.list

Important !!!

Change the file type to "ALL"

Save to your desktop, then open it and paste in your line details then save

Transfer to Usr\Keys with filezilla along with the mg_cam file

Or just open notepad on your computer go to file open and browse to the file lol

i don't know how to start a new thread!!!! lol i've deleted the example lines in the newcamd and put in my test line in and saved it, ive upload it to usr/keys on the filezilla then followed your instructions to softcam set up menu ive moved the bar down to mgcamd.1.38 pressed the green button but it says no config files found, please setup MGcamd first in/usr/keys!!! if kryptview comes back now i'm going to run over the box in my car lol
 
Hi,

Followed the thread sat side working fine however I am struggling with cable. Managed to get autobouqets to work but most channels have 0%SNR and 0%AGC including FTA i'm guessing no signal is there something I'm doing wrong?
 
Can I just ask if above guide is same for my World Vision force +1 running open Vix? Have Mgcamd 1.38 and CCcam 2.3 and always used CCCAM.CFG in DCC for N Line input & FTP. Now it won't work for me.
No list.file or cfg files for me to edit in my box's folders.

Should clarify...I meant that for me to follow the Mgcamd N: to CWS = route I have NOT got the mg cfg and camd list files to edit with my N line
