Thanks for guide when i do my channel scan i dont get history hd anyone else get it thanks as in the sacn in auto bouquets

After being redirected to this thread by Bees (cheers), last night I managed to get my Miraclebox up and running, with only the slightest of hiccups.

Not sure if tyhis is relevant for anyone else but the part I was struggling with was the loading of softcam config/mg_cam files. I transferred them with no issue but when I went into SOFTCAM MANAGER, I tried the cccam file and it said no config file found, or words to that effect. I tried a few times, even deleting the file and transferring it again, still the same result. So I continued with the mgcam part and then put the green tick into both CCcam.2.3.0 and mgcamd.1.35a boxes......and weirdly it works :dance:

However if I then go into CCCAM INFO (the part with a vertical list starting at 0 General onwards) if I then click on any of those options I get an error box stating "Error reading webpage". Not sure what this is about and not particularly looking for a fix for it (not unless it starts acting up), like I say, it is working perfectly. I have posted this just in case it helps anyone else seeing this error.

On a sidenote, this Miraclebox seems to be vastly superior to my F5s I have moved from, I have had it on all afternoon, Scuzz and Kerrang and it has not once, really it hasn't, paused like the F5s did occasionally with that dreaded "scrambled" message (I understand why this happens and my line provider supplies me a very stable connection, so I know it wasn't this)

Bees, thank you, great having step by step guide. All set up. Also a big thanks to others who have contributed where people have had slight issues - they helped me where I thought I had gone wrong.

I have mgcam file loaded into filezilla but does not show in soft cam manager (miraclebox mini) help is greatly apriciated its a 24hr test file
 
read the tut again as you are suppose to download plugins first then choose softcams -mg1.38 to install.
filezilla = 2 files to be sent to usr/keys -newcamd.list and mg_cfg- downloads on tk.
 
Thanks for the guide.

The EPG / Auto Bouquet are not working. I know the EPG might take a day to come in as it's on a timer. But the stations are still all over the place and not in order.

Also how to i get Picon's to work? I downloaded the plugin and installed it.. but they are not showing up.

Thanks Bees for the excellent guide. Have managed to get Miaclebox mini+ up and running. Very impressed. However only about half of the HD channels are working the other half saying "Tune fail" Have done a couple of re-scans but still the same. Any help would be appreciated. Also if I do a factory reset will that erase the Vix on the box. Thank you in advance
 
I'm gonna guess and say that's either a lose connection or dish needs a tweak ..

thanks for the great guide after following this for the initial setup ive managed to configure my box to only have one set of bouquets rather than 2 by replacing all of the dead sky hd channels with virgin

When Autobouquet maker updates over night won't it just return to the standard bouquets ?
