Yeah sorry guys i will share; was just seeing if anybody knew how i could change the colour of the recorded event name beforehand but i'll upload what i have so far;
movies.xml , diskinfo.py, main-templates.xml and movielist.py have all been changed
these mods will only work if you are using kiddac's mod for the sly planner
mods include search bar graphic; progress bar grpahic; re-positioning of duration of recording; service icons in original position of duration; prev-next png and 'for options' added next to 'press select to view' RGYB buttons renamed to Suggestions, Series Link, Delete, Keep, Ch- label added; Recorded, Viewed, Downloaded etc capitalised, gold select bar arrows added; 'Recorded Show' changed to 'Recorded Movie' on playback; menu button removed; a-z icons removed.
On the mini-tv, files have been edited in main-templates.xml; i've uploaded this file too if you'd like the current service name and event name in the small blue bar under the mini-tv

And what makes it appear chabs? Also grantdavey I've assigned the red suggestions button to home but it doesn't take me to the top picks screen it does nothing where have I gone wrong mate?

It is just a graphic included part of the selectbar by grant just to make it look like the original sky planner...it states that the recording is auto timer...

hmm not sure mate; i assigned the red button to Home and when i pressed red it just took me to the menu, which i have enabled as Chabs' menu top picks screen

Sorry i don't have more info/help on this; I just changed my red button to something else and then back to home and it still takes me to top picks screen but as far as i remember i didn't change anything for it to do this; only the text 'suggestions' not what the pressing of the red button does; there is another option for assigning red button to search epg instead which wold bring up other similar programmes based on what you've recorded if thats a help?

Planner is now working again without crashing issue appeared to be with parental control which I'd accidentally turned on.
Switched off and hey presto working again!!
I however have an issue with the coloured buttons which don't appear as expected.

Google enigma2 skins. 12 months ago people were over the moon with what i would class as sub standard skins. How far us skinners have come since. And you guys still want more. You lot dont seem to realise how far the likes of me, chabs and rossi have pushed this creaking system. But don't stop. Points make prizes. We are all constantly learning off each other
