Nah its in menu-templates.xml Its in the first screen name called menu, but ive got mine in mymods.xml so that i can have it with my other mods. Or if youre using chabs main menu, its in his menu.xml file.

don't worry found it :) menu-templates.xml changed to CENTER and it has worked brill, now i've centered the text i've slightly amended the menu bar to two arrows :
Is it possible now to change the various settings screens to something similar, so for example, here's my AV settings screen :
Would it be possible on the right list (HDMI / disabled / 1080p etc....) to center that text so i can then change those to double arrows < HDMI > apposed to <> HDMI
and for the other settings screens (auto language selection, customise, epg etc etc...)

As hideout10uk has stated, you can get the latest IPK from post 1 of Kiddac's V5 thread HERE ; there are skin modifications on Kiddac's dropbox like the EPG Tabs, Sly Planner etc but for any of the mods in this thread that you'd like to use; because there is such a variety of mods to choose from, there is no compiled image for it just based on personal preferences etc ; but if you take a look at post 525 of this mods thread found HERE (post 525 was created to simplify which mods have been made and what's available and to make it easy to navigate) ; this lists every mod with links that can take you to the original posts and downloads for those mods
Just make sure you read fully post 1 on Kiddac's V5 thread as you'll need to edit extras.xml if you want to use any of the mods ; almost all of the mods on this thread come with instructions on how to get them working on your box either in the post or in the download

yes mate ; just select whichever bouquet you'd like to go into e.g. all channels and then use 'prev' or 'next' on your remote (or depending on your box it may be "<" and ">") and this will take you through the bouquets in the graphical epg; you need to enable epg tabs first in extras.xml and ftp the epgselection.py to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens from kiddac's dropbox

yeah thanks gman found it in the end :) i am using chabs' menu mod but it wasn't in menu.xml, found it in menu-templates.xml and it works ; i'm now searching to see if its possible to center the settings screens text and do the same with the arrows/select bar

Nice one thought it was a bit strange you couldn't do that user error as the say haha

yes it does exist, it's standard with kiddac's skin as far as i'm aware; pressing CH- will go down an entire page on the epg and CH+ up a page

It only used to work with the third party epgselection.py, don't know if that's still the case.

if you're referring to the epg for this; just press menu whilst in the epg which will take you to GraphicalEPG settings, and you can select to show picons in there; if you're using vix 4.2.004 or later you can also select in there to show the channel numbers, but if you're using atv channel numbers are shown by using AutoBouquets E2 plugin or a modified EPGList.py and UsageConfig.py ; although I'm on vix so don't have these files however one of the guys on here using ATV may share if they have them :)

EPG > Menu > GraphicalEPG Settings > Service Title Mode = Service Number, Picon and Service Name
or the long way round
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > GraphicalEPG Settings > Service Title Mode = Service Number, Picon and Service Name

Sorry to bother you again just gone to enable to extended info but after pressing menu whilst in the new planner I don't get that option for extended info , I scrolled all the way.
To get the text centerd, ull only need to edit the multicontententrytext for the menu listbox, and change the flag so it says RT_HALIGN_CENTER | RT_VALIGN_CENTER
There's a settings,mounts,network mounts etc do tried selecting settings and the box reboots every time.
I have changed the panel name to "Movie selection 2" but what I'm thinking is yesterday when editing the extras.xml for some reason all the text just disappeared god knows why and j only had a old version of extras.xml from version 3 I think it was so I used that and it seemed ok.
Can you think what I'm doing wrong

Have you placed MovieList.py and MovieSelection.py in your box from kiddac's drop box?
After editing extras.xml, save into your box, then from kiddac's dropbox ftp MovieList.py to /usr/share/enigma2/python/Components and rename the file already in there MovieList.pyo to MovieList-old.pyo
then download MovieSelection.py from kiddac's dropbox, and ftp to /usr/share/enigma2/python/Screens and rename your MovieSelection.pyo to MovieSelection-old.pyo
Restart GUI and then go into Planner screen, press menu, go into settings and scroll down to use extended list and select Sly Planner
You won't be able to see use extended list or select sly planner option without the PY files

Yeah I've transfered them 2 and renamed the ones to "-old" just double checked .
The location you said was that a typo ? As I've put them in
Usr/lib/enigma2/python/components & screens
I did notice it's created a new pyo file of each I'm guessing that's what should happen the bottom picture is the bottom half of my extras.xml
