iPTV Recording

Hi

Anyone know of a box or software which will allow you to record and playback streams say via an EPG or any other way?

I'm doing it on my zgemma H2S. Search the forum for 2boom's m3u to bouquet converter and E-Channelizer.

Do any of you guys have trouble recording normally with iptv? Can you set series record when your out? Cause I've been having trouble with mine doing this

Case I've been having trouble doing it that way & it can be a little hit and miss? Sometimes it records only 1min even though it still says it's recording then after you find it screwed up somehow? then other times it records just fine? Just wondering if others get the same

Is autotimer working at the moment even?
As I have autotimers set up and working grand but now nothing at all
And can't get anything working

Have you checked with you're supplier? Recording can be classed as multroom so if you don't have it then they will automatically kill one feed

I have multiroom installed but sometimes timer recording works & sometimes it don't, if anything is coming on before I go to bed I usually put it on the channel i wanna record then press record then set the end time, then don't turn the box off. This works fine as of now but if I set series record I get trouble & sometimes it just records a few minutes or so.

Did check he said yes should be fine but the HS2 box might be crapping out because it cant handle doing it??

Same here. Other than the woosh bit
Mine craps out when the timed recoding stops
Freezes the box up, video plays on but you can't move it

Have to reboot after recording recording is fine but everything frozen till reboot, EPG and bouquets have been or will be implemented soon across the board, recording needs to be sorted and we're good to go

I know my agent says you can't record on it. The sever won't let it
But I have recorded but the freezes after is the problem.
So at least I know that is a wide problem. Not me and my h2s

I'm on openatv 6.0 and an Edison optimuss so it's not just a zgemma and woosh issue

Hi, ive got an i55. I am looking to build up an image that puts the channels into the buqouets, does your h2s do this? and also bring in the epg. Would you be able to point me in the right direction as to where I could find the files which do as such. i.e the script for the boquets etc etc TIA

Set a manual timer
Go to the iptv channel
Menu
Timers
Timers
Add timers
Then just set a time period
Save it


As I remember before I had the EPG setup, I recorded stuff no problem at all
Will test once home self. Just thought I would ask out for
