Upgrade to Open ATV 6.1

This removes the plugin. now exit telnet and restart gui

Basically the box still thinks the Plugin is installed but is in state of 'hold' (do not update) as it has not been removed from the OPKG database, but as the folder has been removed it will not attempt to load the plugin.

tried this
the section command didnt seem to do any thing so i just went in and removed the folder myself
 
Hi Guys, Hope I'm on the right thread. Trying to update my ZGemma 2S to openatv 6.1. Can anyone provide a detailed instruction. I've exhausted all the avenues I can think of. Thanks in advance.
 
Blue button...Software Manager....Flash Online/Local......Online......ATV6.1 and then choose the version to flash.

I assume you choose the bottom one. Guessing this is the latest version as it has the highest number but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Same reason I haven't done it yet but I like the soaps and to many recording lol

So, I have finally done the update. Now running 6.1, loaded up Chabs Sly skin, added Grog's Movie organiser back in, deleted all the unwanted plugins......so far so good, IPTV is running fine, only time will tell if it is any better........problem is my IPTV was fine 99% of the time running WB6 so it's going to be hard to spot the difference.
 
Cool do you have links to the movie organiser and latest chabs skin is the one in downloads latest? Will possibly upgrade to if I have time

Do you get small pause on channel change over?

The skin. I used the one in downloads so I assume it's the latest. Movie organiser I just searched for it on the forum and found a link that way.

I do get slight pause on changing channels but then I did with wb6. Some channels change instantly though.

well it works a lot better for me
and thats just my apinion
try it and see if your having trouble on 6.0 on h2s for iptv try my 6.1 backup

cant install a usb hard drive for recording or play/pause
