Speed test

Hi I've just done a speed test on my box and the results were not great 11mb.But when I check the same line but connected to my laptop it reads 50mb why is there such a difference? Thanks in advance.

What you running it as wireless or hard wired

Different processor power/speeds. Your laptop has WAY more processor speed than your box so can deal with the info delivered more quickly.

That's it very simply and as I understand it as a simple man.
