HD channels on vm pixellating

Any ideas how to stop pixelation ? It’s only my hd channels and it’s not continuous but every few minutes . I’ve checked my h2h box and that isn’t doing it , but now I have a h7c set up and it’s started to pixelate on hd channels . Any ideas much appreciated

Might be looking at how good cables and type of splitter in use or bad connection,is it blocky?

Hi cactikid it’s the original vm splitter and works ok on my h2h but I’m getting now blocky bits on my h7c every couple of minutes but Not full screen , just in patches

are you switching the h7 and H2 over when testing? ie testing each box using same connections and cables?

I just take the cables out the h2h and put it into the 7 so yes same connections

i had squared blocky issues and it was a bad cable connection and as i moved cables around i could see the issue i had.

Beware of removing cables or inserting while powered on.

Ah ok mine jumps around when I move my tv stand to get to back of box. Am I better turning box off , removing cables and put them back in again?

Yes power off both and recheck both ends of cable for bad connections or tightening.

Tried this mate , still pixelating :-/ tried both b and c tuner too .. works perfectly on my h2h

It's a signal problem you may need a signal booster but some peeps say phone vm for a boost

Ah ok Dave but does it make a difference the box is plugged directly into the router?? Cause it’s workimg perfect when I switch to the h2h , cheers for the reply

daft question Dave where do I put a signal booster .. I’m using the original vm split cable that comes into my house for tv/ internet
