Simple answer is yes.

Theres some that issue a VPN, but really those that pay for IP*V is expected to get there own if your supplier cant issue one.

If supplier needs a VPN they are advertising all over the place and would not touch them with a barge pole.

IMO - any server is prone to a block as the blocks are happening in realtime. So even if a provider tells you no VPN isn't needed now, they will soon change their stance if/when they get affected. As above post I would also strongly recommened you prepare yourself with your own VPN and not rely on the provider!

It was also mentioned on another thread, even if the provider does get affected and 'quickly' fixes the issue - you will still be without service till they overcome the block.

I also understand that some of NORD VPN IP addresses (prob certain countries) are also being blocked so might want to avoid them!

I have got a reconfigured router set up with nord vpn which was working fine but now it won't connect to the net could this be because the server it's on is blocked ??

If you use Xtream Editor on an Enigma 2 box they have a vpn plugin built into it so just subscribe to any of the supported vpn providers and just enter the user/pass, very easy..

If you are using IPTV, Cyberflix or downloading stuff you would be crazy not to use a VPN. The cost is next to nothing.

I do use one but not all the time, more because a vpn hampers internet speeds and this effects streams sometimes, its more a last resort for me than a must
