Xtream Codes website taken down re IPTV

Might I suggest closing IPTV requests temporarily. My concern is that resellers or those that are up to no good could potentially start reselling existing lines and ripping off those that are non the wiser about the current state of play.

With xc down IPTV lines will continue to work with people’s subs lines until they expire.
Because xc affects the back end ie making lines / line info / extending / deleting / editing etc.
So another panel option is need to be able to create lines etc as before (what xc was used for)
Obviously xc panels can do more depends on the type. Etc.

All very good in what you say.
Those that really host the goodies, for talk sake for 3 servers rented at £230 a month on cloud and other costs. You think they will see a year out with no means of delivery?
Also migrating else where... you think supplier can just login to XC and move existing clients over?

Im confused.

I don't really know what any of you are talking about. But I do know that my mag box isn't working and the 5 plus family members I've set up aren't either. Not all from the same sub either. Surely this is linked ??
Anyone throw any light on this for me?
Channels are starting to go now

I've heard that some people using enigma2 boxes are having issues, sometimes some feeds clear but other times the same feeds don't clear and sometimes it clears for one person but not another. Not sure why it is but obviously it's related

One of my suppliers says it is temporary!! and they will be migrating over to another platform!! Update to come.

If your enigma device is using xtream editor that will be the issue. Not because xtream editor is anything to do with xtream codes but more because xtream editor cannot communicate with the panel

Yes and as inward streams stall, stutter, disconnect and generally misbehave, there's no way now for administrators to restart/refresh them.
Can't see it lasting longer than a few days myself before 90% of iptv is down for good

There are other panels available, not just XC. The established providers will hold on as long as they can and then start working on a backup plan to switch. Assuming a worst case scenario that they will never come back I am sure with the amount of money involved someone will look to fill the gap.

As has already been said, how can suppliers get the lines / details / users from a panel they cannot access in order to migrate them onto a new panel?

I don't think that is the case, there are alternatives and if providers dont find them suitable then, as this is not an encoding issues like sat or cable may, be I am sure someone could code a panel, even if just a basic one to start with, to allow providers to carry on.

I think providers use a local cache of the db on their own server, if that;s the case then they will have all the information they need to transfer to new panel

Other panels are available already, that isn't the problem, the problem is the admins don't have access to the panels in order to see what users have left on their subs or what packages they are using, nor to restart streams as they eff-up, which they do with annoying regularity

Without going into too much detail, a supplier should have a copy of the database with user line details available. What has happened today would not take that away.

Ok my IPTV has gone about 1/2 hour ago.
In my ignorance from what I've been reading. Has something big happened in Italy and shut down IPTV through extreme editor. What are the panels?
The administration software used by providers (the panel), xtream-codes, is run/hosted by the developing company, they have been shut down today so providers can't add users or update feeds etc.
