2 lines buffering

Could try a speed test when both are connected to see if perhaps your ISP is throttling your connection.

Failing that, maybe your second line is already in use by a 3rd party ;)
 
I tried tv mate and it crashed the shield. I had to reset it and install everything again unless I used a dodgy version of it 😭
I think it's available on the Play Store? My brother uses it on his Shield. It won't be premium version though, you'll need to fork out a tenner+ for that :)
 
I seem to remember the old Shields didn't have a lot of memory? Try uninstalling/ disabling anything you don't/ rarely use. :)

I checked playstore earlier on there are clones even on iptvsmarters.com download section playstore link does not work. And new version there is no where to add user email and password to actvate as pro as in older versions it seems to be free now.

I think the change of password on your login is a good shout, it would stop any rogue app holding a connection.

And make sure you have the official version of whatever app you are using.

Tivimate or imPlayer for me or maybe iboplayer. But each to their own.
 
Folks thanks for all the suggestions. Its very much appreciated. I'll check to see if I can get the password changed and try an alternative app. Is tivimate the way to go? How much does it cost?

I think it's £12 a year, or £30+ for life. You get 5 device's for that. :)
 
Sparkle is also a great app, can be downloaded directly from android app store, the free version is fine. Usually when a user complains of constant buffering, every minute or so, they are hitting their connection limits. Id ask the admin to confirm that your account is setup with the correct cx limit, failing that, change your password, someone may be using your account.
