I’m now thinking about sticking to a firestick or going back to a Zgemma. Any suggestions on the best quality service nowadays?
Only issue is that I won’t have a VPN on zgemma

All depends on budget whether you prefer it be hard wired or WiFi ect.
A lot of providers are changing streams to hevc265 so older boxes and android devices will struggle in time to come.
Not many people will pass on there providers info so I would just pay for a month at a time if don't like after a month move onto next one ect

Its best to takes tests tests tests.

See which one is for you as something that is fine for someone else may not be so for you.

Some services dont require VPN now. They have it sorted on their end.

Again best to take as many tests to find which is right for you.
