ABM scan failed

All of a sudden my ABM scans have started failing. I havent changed anything so not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Go to autoboqetmaker menu and update provider files Then scan for channels
If it fails, the cable may be in the wrong socket at the back.
Can you get bbc1 and ch4?

Tried to update provider files and got a message saying they are already up to date. Tried a scan again and bizarrely it worked?

On a side note, I have not had BBC1, BBC2 or STV work since moving to OSCAM. Channel 4 works fine though.

No I can’t for weeks, reason is ????

Reason is the box isn't connected to virgin.
Check splitters and connections.
Make sure the vm cable is live, do you have broadband with them?

its scanning and finding the video 344 and radio 38

then get a error message

Yes same here 347 tv 38 radio and sure we have to be connected if we are getting sly one etc etc.

Splitters fine cable live bb with them, but bbc1 bbc2 chnl 4 not working

If you can't get these the vm cable isn't connected.
Check the tuner settings
Which h socket have you got the F connector plugged into?

Are you in Glasgow 00002 or 40984? as even without a line you may well struggle with bbc and stv, been like this for months.
bbc 1 hd cleared the other day and that was the first in a long while, obviously area related

I’ve no doubt you’re correct.

No these net id's have had issues for a while now. The norm for a vm signal would give you fta confirming vm services are still to the property, so just thought i'd ask as it may have helped

I'm up and running ..
All I did was do a redownload..sometimes can get a bug in them

Followed the guide for flashing whooshbuild that I would normally do

Well add 00021 to that list then as well.

not for net id 00002.
only Channel 4 SD is availble for "free".
the others are only availble in HD and as such need a subscription to view.
