Advice for new box

MXQpro approx £25 on Ebay.
Download EMU STB or DigitalSTB from google play they are free.
They are MAG emulators, so it works the same as a MAG.
Give your server the MAC address that the emulator selects for your box, type in the URL that he give you and your sorted.
It's better than using Xtream.
Nice easy menus, dead simple to use.
Will also run Kodi, cracking box for the price.:👍::👍::👍:

question for you mxq-4K as good or better ?
loads of options on fleabay not sure what's what just want to wipe it clean and only run exodus and the emulator u talk about

I'd like to open this up again for some more info.
I am in the same boat as tt. I have a Mag box and also an H2S, and thinking of buying another box primarily to run IPTV. The above mentioned boxes sound interesting, and I know that they can potentially offer more than just running IPTV. They are cheap too!!
I can see that they start at about £18. How much would I regret not going for the £33 one if I go for a £18 one? I note that for £33, you possibly get a keyboard, which I think is probably worth getting, and that it has 2Gb as opposed to 1Gb. Speed I am guessing is the main difference.
Recommendations? Does the STB emulator really work like a Mag?

Why not stick just with the Mag you've got? the 250 is a bit dated if you have that one?but you
Won't go far wrong with 254/256w & 256w etc double memory to it's brother the 254
or is it the android Kodi theme on a cheaper box your after with an emulator to look
and view like a Mag box a bit strange to say the least?

You don't really need the keyboard. Unless you are going to mess about on Kodi searching the net and stuff.
You also don't need to pay for a "fully loaded" box which basically means they set up
a load of channels on Kodi for you which work today but the links will be dead in a few months
Mag boxes are great, but the MXQpro is not far behind and a lot cheaper.
The emulators are free downloads and once they load and you are watching IPTV you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between both boxes.
So if it's a cheap version of a Mag to run IPTV this would be a good option.

as above there are some more expensive options with 2gb ram does it make that much of a diffrence ?
the reason for wanting to run kodi and emulator is that the iptv ondemand stuff isn't all that from my supplier so don't want multiple devices and cheap option as its only a second room device

Like you say, I am basically looking for a very cheap option, for a kids bedroom, that works "ok" rather than paying £70 for something that works similar. It won't get used too much. The VOD stuff via Kodi will just be a bonus. That's my thinking. 2Gb or 1Gb...I will have a google.

You said you have a zgemma h2s aswell why don't you put a basic image onto it get an iptv sub one where it can be linked to epg and record on if it's for your kids bedroom saves money when by time you've decided on a box and bought it you could just pay for a sub and have it set up and your kids can watch it then unless you're using it

After 30 seconds the recording stops.
Its a genuine box from WOS. Ive updated the firmware..to no avail.
