babies on the way yay!!

I was gonna be "very off color" but decided against it. ;)

Nice pix and good work Linny... I'm sure you had fun getting to this stage.... Well done and good luck.

colours will change as they get older and once they have had their 1st shed in about a week or so the colours will change slightly. The orange one could end up a type of sunglow but its difficult to tell at the moment. an example is mum was greyish brown when we got her she is now a nice warm brown colour

no once eggs have been laid you remove eggs from mother and incubate them for around 60 days. That it mother never seems them again. When they pip ( break the egg) they feed on the egg yolk which lasts them about a week, then once they have shed we can then try them to see if they are hungry. They should automatically smell the food and strike for it. It doesnt always work like that, if they dont feed then we leave it say another week incase they are still full from the egg yolk.

Its amazing how they come out and know how to strike and even what food is and how to eat it.

quick update for you. All babies have had their 1st shed now and all have taken their 1st meal. 1 struck for it the other two we just left and they ate when they were ready. Not had time to take photos etc due to other things going on. see new thread! (poorly Bearded dragon)
Linny xx :)
