Best hard drives for nas

What would be people suggest for a hard drive for a nas setup and I would like alternatives to the Wd red?

Seagate and Toshiba do alternative NAS drives.
Just search Amazon for NAS HDD.

Would any one suggest using a cctv hard drive class being OK for nas use?

The HGST IDK Deskstar 3.5 inch 3TB Internal Hard Drive https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HE7HG2C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_EtMJybS1R0K48 are often reviewd against the WD Reds with good performance.

Don't forgot however, there are now effectively only two manufacturers of HDDs. Western Digital and Seagate.
