Is it holding the correct date & time consistently? (especially after restarts)

If it is? the battery is most likely OK.

I only had to change the date and time once, and that was after I had replaced the same CMOS battery, since then the date and time has been consistent, I have restarted it and turned it off several times and everything seems to be ok now.

I meant for the 1 you changed to a while ago and as Gman said about the date and time is a good indicator,must be a huge thing if a bunch of guys delivered it:whistling:

Ahh, that CMOS battery, after trying to remove the CMOS battery myself a year ago I thought I was going to break the clip off the motherboard, so I took it into a shop and had "the guy" replace it.

Maybe not a bunch of guys, there may have just been 2? lol
