Broadband Usage

Hi

I am getting a zgemma2 first time using sat. Just wondering do these boxes use a lot of data over a month and what is the min line speed for them to work ok? I have sky broadband with a 20 or 40 gb monthly usage.

A cline/nline for a satellite box doesn't send picture or sound down your internet line, its basically a txt file so very little data useage.

About 100mb per month provided you don't download plugins and movies to it

A month you will hit a few hundred mb which is mostly caused by epg downloads even this is a stretch.

Speed is not important quality of line is and how long it takes for the box to communicate tor gift/line provider this is something a lot of people do not understand they think because they have lets say virgin 150mb package they should be fine but someone with 1mb connection can be better "ping"
