Can blade stream play DVDs or is it just for files?

Can blade stream play DVDs or is it just for files?
If so, please can you tel me how?

As far as I know you can only record files (programs) onto a HDD
and play back.

I guess you could download a film or tv program for instance
and convert the file format to that used by the blade and play that from the hard drive

Never done it but I guess hunting around for a file convertor
wouldn't be a major problem.

Format Factory is a great converter and its free.

you can play many different types of files through the blade ,as I have done avi mpeg mkv etc not just stuff recorded on it.
Transfer your dvd onto a hdd or pen drive and try it.

Not sure about that Jimmy,
If you bought the dvd use dvd clone to back it up to your pc them put it onto a pen drive
