Channel info wrong

there was a film on one of my cable channels last night, the epg said it one film but it was actually a completely different film.

what causes this error.

Depends if your using rytec or virgin to update, tbh the virgin epg isn't great and is sometimes wrong it's not an equipment problem just their not as good as sky in updating their epg don't sweat it.

Ok thanks. It only seems to be one movie channel that is wrong. Scifi & horror channel. The epg says transformers and it's actually chappie

I think I'm using rytec ?

yep had that also on sat wrong film on and i use open cross lol
