If you are offered, or see a black Starview 3 for sale on flebay etc, do not purchase one of these.
The Starview 3 has been discontinued & these black SV3`s are CLONES.

you just need to make sure you buy from a reputable seller who will give you a guarantee that the box is 100% genuine .there are still quite a few about.

ok so not going to buy one but how can you tell ? other than that my sv3 is sliver not black. id just like to know if there is a simple way to tell by looking at them

Must admit i found a good supplier ( well they were until recently lol) and will only get boxes from them as i trust them

its really difficult to tell with both the sv2 and sv3 especially if they are silver'

Thanks for that post Noely i nearly bought one of these on fleabay sometime back,and the seller was very convincing,ie the box being genuine etc
