cs on hd combo

as anyone managed to card share using the sat side of the hd combo box?, i can find loads of info in this if you have a dreambox but nothing on sv.
any suggestions, just want to sort something out before N3 hits my area.

I've got it working all be it on a trial basis with a cs provider. Only problem with starview is it doesn't give you much info when things aren't working 100%. For example I had problems until I updated to the CCcam fix firmware and fixed a typo in the password I was using.
Glitches aren't too bad until you get knocked off the channel your watching for 5 seconds or so.
All in all I woud definately recommend trying it out even if you don't end up using it.

Have you got any info for that CCcam update fiemware file.
You say you get knocked out every 5 seconds, that sounds bad!
also what CS provider have you gone with.

When I say knocked out every 5 seconds I mean that maybe in a 2 hour film i'll loose the picture about twice for about 5 seconds. This is probably down to the server i was using and not starview. The CCcam fix comes in two versions. You want the UK or Ireland version?

before knightrider 0528 or update will fail

Should stop the 5 second glitching :)

Looks like some problems when trying to downgrade from carling+. Gives me a "update failed. please check your usb memory" when going to 0128. From the same USB a re-flash of carling+ works fine. Any ideas?

i was going to ask this question, will this fix affect the Carling firmware, i have mine set up and working great, don't want to flash it and loose all my channels.
