Make sure that the zgemma folder only is on the usb power off the box with the back power button insert usb in back and switch on using back button then box should change from usb to flash. That's providing your flashing with this image

On windows..Connect the USB drive, go to > Computer or > My Computer, right-click the drive and select > Format… from the menu. The formatting options you have are > File system, > Allocation unit size, > Volume label, and > Format options select fat32

Try formatting with this

you can run it within the zipfile select your usb and click format
 
After you have formatted only put the zgemma folder only on the USB stick, turn ur box power off insert USB in the back and power on again..finger crossed it starts to flash for you

I've just selected the format on USB and it's defaulted to Fat32

Ina mac you would insert USB then on spotlight type disk utility select your USB and erase and then select ex fat (I believe this is off the top of my head) lol

Also have you tried this with both USB sticks? And what size USB sticks are they?

have you followed any instructions from page 1? You would find all this a whole lot simpler if you just read Dsayers instructions

This will be your main problem mate you cannot flash without this folder on the USB stick, this is what you are needing to flash to the box the "zgemma" folder
 
i never formatted the usb i tried both usb ones sands 64gb 3.0 other one is 16gb 2.0

do you have a link to download this folder mate?
 
16gb would be best to flash with. Format that you'll have issues formating 64gb with windows as it's too large. Format with the tool from post 367.

Download link on the first post says download here it should download dsayers openatv h2h backup.rar unzip it and drag the zgemma folder only to usb turn off box using the back power button insert usb in back and switch on using back button then box should change from usb to flash.

Yes if your using vm only but why ask in this thread not his?

You need to drop the zgemma folder only on usb not the zipfile
