You need to be using this image on a zgemma H2.H with both vm and sky connections if you have sky only then you can't get vm

Im on the version of this image before the latest update so can you just backup settings then update to the latest 05/01/2017 image release then restore settings ? thanks
 
You should be able to yes I don't do settings restore myself but others have without issues.

No you will need to do a bit off faffing first red button, plugins, cron manager high lite updatecustom.sh and press green to delete it .

now ftp /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/custom delete the sat_282_sky_uk_CustomMix.xml file

Now you need to setup autobouquetsmarker goto providers change sky uk your area custom not hd or sd
virgin uk generate sections bouquets yes
green to save then start scan
 
Thanks. I do like the customix but having a few problems understanding how to record and watch another channel not knowing if the source is sat or cable. Should I be able to record 103 and watch 104 ?without getting the error below?

Best watching one from entertainment and record one from all channels bouquet on vm or the other way round

Works watching from entertainment (eg 102) and recording from all channels (e.g. 5101) but oddly not visa versa.
 
Re tested and looks to be working both ways. Sports household so more likely to be recording on 'Entertainment' and watching on 'All Channels'. Thanks for the advice, will continue to explore & familiarise.
 
Hi all,
Would using the SkyNew skin that Chabs has uploaded cause any issues with this image?

I dont want to update to another Sky skin and then realise that the bouquets and settings that have been applied to this image are not carried over!!!

No installing other skins shouldn't cause issues skins shouldn't effect settings

Hi dsayers I'm on old image of your and all my HD channels have disappear off the bouquets, i tried searching again but no luck, can you help at all
 
Maybe best to update but your channels shouldn't dissappear because I've kept the same source for the custom.xml in all images.

Have you got the version with customupdater plugin? If so run that and check amb, providers is your area sky uk hd then start scan

Thanks for your reply, no custom updater plugin on mine, i downloaded is around july 2016 from here, everything has been working all good, very weird only noticed them not there just now. your latest image you only VM skin and i like the sky one, what should i do ?
 
I don't do settings restore myself but blue button choose backup settings then when reflashed you should be able to choose restore settings.
