The sky movies hd and sd channels are fine on the last update. I've only just noticed the line on epg I'll look into it you shouldn't be having dark issues or size issues with the skins I've tried slyk1hd and that's fine apart from the line. When you do update using the ftp method yes you can skip the hdd setup

for the sky movies issue on the old image use this custom mix unzip this View attachment 18132 and ftp the sat_282_sky_uk_CustomMix.xml to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/custom then rescan abm

Known bugs:
Some Samsung TVs have an auto dimming feature that you cannot turn off. As this is a dark skin, there might be problems with some screens automatically changing contrast and auto dimming.
The only way around this is to set your TV to movie mode and tweak all the colours and brightness for that setting. It's not an ideal solution, but blame Samsung.

Done this and channels now sorted.

Prime events is in the sky sports interactive bouquet (this may change Monday). if you want separate bouquets in providers virgin choose generate sections bouquets to yes

I have a h2h running on dsayers2014 image work fantastic for me. One improvement I would add is toggle switches to turn your lines off and on so you can turn 1 off if becomes unstable.

Help needed - tried flashing the box, used a Mac to unzip the file but box would not go past boot stage after initially showing flash. I then turned the box off and on again but now stuck in boot mode!

Also, once unzipped, is it only the Zgemma file that needs to be moved to the usb for flashing?

Try using this mg_cfg file http://www.techkings.org/downloads.php?do=file&id=597 place the nline in newcamd.list starting with CWS and the cline in cccamd.list

Managed to load a blank version of Vix but still having issues with this file. I've also tried to ftp the file over, but when I go into setup, image manager it comes back with 'you have no image to restore'... What am I doing wrong?

I would use a Windows only just to be certain.
I used dsayers image and setup guide to install my box for the first time just over a week ago and it all went fine. That was my first time installing a box too.

I would suggest use a Windows only laptop or computer and try changing the usb pen. Make sure you fully format it first to fat32.

I had the same problem, i just copied the zipped file to hdd and it worked fine.

Just got it to work.. Like an idiot I was saving the file in the wrong place. However when I did load it it came back with a few errors, none of which were critical. It seems to be working fine but how do I get the live pause, rewind etc features? I've attached my formatted HDD and following the initialisation instructions but nothing is happening when trying to pause or rewind.

You need to setup the timeshift settings. Its in the setup guide.
