I only saw them when looking for home entertainment power centres and trying to get some red lights off at night.

Question before i order them,is turning off meant by switching power off at switch or shutting down pc?
Would also need to know if on tv and using off button does that shut down the extras?

When the pc is turned off it turns off the power at the switch so no power is going to the pc. Please be aware there is 2 types of these switches 1 for a pc and 1 for a tv the tv one has a infared sensor on the end of a lead that needs to be programmed to the tv remote control before it will work
