EPL blocks

Ok guy's gonna put this out there....My supplier is having big issues with blocks on prem footy days!!!!! Basically shuts down all IPTV channels until its over. VPN on zgemma works which is ok but speed drops make it bit choppy.

Now question i really asking is this the norm for all suppliers? as they are saying every supplier will be getting these issues . I have spoken to someone on here to be fair who has said no down time on his but just wanted a general idea as doesn't seem like a great deal about it on here which tends to lead me to think its not wide spread.

In my experience. The bigger or more popular the provider, thenthey're on isps radar. The smaller ones are not. I have 3 subs. 2 I need 2 use Vpn for the smaller one i don't.

Ahhh yes make sense!!! mmmmmm you would automatically go to the bigger one thinking better service back up etc but looks like the opposite way around with IPTV all of a sudden, sounds like they are attracting far to much attention

Not every supplier is having these issues. As with the comments above, it's all the big players that are attracting attention, you need a small provider who does no advertising, no websites, no Facebook pages. You know my thoughts on all this from the PM's we have been exchanging. Put it this way, the major supplier that we were discussing......when I was with them, they openly told me that Sly knew about their existence and how they work, so it's hardly surprising that they are getting blocked.

Cheers dt you have been most helpful, ive been around for while but always nice to get a bit of extra input

Servers are not being blocked. It's broadband customers who are being denied access to certain ip's.

My supplier is run's fine, when epl is on it goes black. I switch on my vpn then all is fine. Issue is my isp blocking me, not the server.

All users will face this issue eventually. VPN is £24 a year which I use on enigma via openvpn plug in.

No one said it was the suppliers end we understand the issue with the court order to isp's
The issue with Vpn is it throttles your speeds it ok if you are on 300mb down to 100mb lol I'm not im on 75mb to boxes but I have a speed hungry household with 4 boys hammering YouTube XBONEs pc gaming most nights every mb counts lol
Having to start playing SD channels again is going backwards saying that they held up on Vpn last night but a lot of arsing about through WB seven and digibit.. Have to say wB seven is majorly slow compared to six for me

VPN is only required during the footy. All other times its off. I have vpn on my enigma box. Phones, tablets, etc in the household connect normally without vpn so no throttling issue for other users.

During footy exactly work it out weekend games mid week games virtually every other day.. And what if you are not a football watcher.? But have to suffer outage on everything else..
Other iptv suppliers have work arounds so if you are getting issues and not happy can move on

Other iptv suppliers do not have workarounds, they are not being targeted. But once they are known they wI'll be targeted. I have no issues, server runs fine. I just switch my VPN before the game and switch off after the game.

They are being Targeted all the time, they just have methods etc to bypass it and not be affected.

Yes exactly they have to be one step ahead like always with this type of service.. Like the ones that are effected they are working on the fix its just they are getting their customers to paper over the cracks to keep them happy until they get the fix in place

Some people use vpn some don't some isp get blocked some don't it's all still early days with iptv but while ever iptv is around there's always going to be same questions asked I'm with sky and don't get blocked at present makes you wonder how long it will take for all ISPs to get round vpns and find every server available

I have two different suppliers, for the saving I'd make on multiroom it's worth having two in case one goes down and neither are having issues at the moment with blocks.

My parents have a sub with a provider that has previously been, erm..regarding the blocks and proudly told their customers they'd never need a VPN. Now they're being hit at EPL kick off times and advising their customers to get a VPN. One of the big ones who openly advertise on Facebook etc - adds weight to the argument you're better off with smaller suppliers who stay 'under the radar.'

If you mention a server name on TechKings again you will be banned, at this stage you should know the rules - abide by them.

I’m on virgin run on zgemma and had no channels for two weeks. Tried other server with no joy. Also separate sub on pc with vpn works fine.

would u say then if you have a provider and they say there head and shoulders above the rest, and they have a way around it. would you say this is a lie?

i have one now there not on facebook or advertise anywere, we lost one game a few weeks back, the lad running the server said he was going to buy something that costs loads of money, and all other providers would know what to buy and do if they knew how to run the panel properly and that he wouldn't be blocked at all.

and no lie i ain't missed a game since, infact today he said he was being blasted by them, and my sub didn't miss a beat no glitch no stutter just perfect picture.
