Did you try the Google play store? It's a mobile app so will work in any zone with VPN obviously for Egyp.The 4k sub will work with non 4k content on shield.
I can't get the play store app to install. It doesn't appear on my shields play store and if I try installing it remotely from a web browser via google play, it never seems to actually appear and install on the shield?
You may need a different device! It doesn't work on fire TV or fire devices.
Just messaged my Dad, he's been on his 2017 shield and it works fine, starting to wonder if my 2015 shield needs swapping.
Check what android tv version your shield is running....needs to be 10.0 for it to be compatible with Tod.tv app
I've checked and it's android 11. When I've looked on Google play store web again, it shows as not compatible. Not sure if anyone has a 2015 shield with it working?
Not sure if my first reply sent but which location did you use on LG TV and was it simple enough? Didn't change your language? Did you use a dns changer for the location to work?

Yes but noone has specifically said if they've got it working on the 2015 version. Just wanting to check whether it's an issue specific to that device.
It's an issue to get the 4k Tod working properly on the 2019 pro version

I have two of the latest apple TVs, I would go for one, you don't need to sideload anything.
