Fire stick xciptv external storage

Hi

I have a 4K firestick with xciptv installed.

as the firestick has a very small storage space for recordings, is it possible to connect a external hard drive to save recordings to?

thanks

I am planning to use this method to set recordings timers in xciptv.

the external drive I’m going to be using has recordings already on there from my old zgemma h2s. Will I have format drive meaning it will wipe everything off it? Or can I do the part partition method?

thanks

Recording iptv is not recommended as it isn’t reliable. Any minor blip in the stream even for a second and the recording will fail

Ah man. Any alternative options? Is it possible to get my zgemma h2s working again like before?

You can set the h2s up to receive freesat channels, plus whatever channels are still clearing on a sub - check out the satellite section on here.

There’s about 100 channels left on the old c/s lines the new hd lines arnt stable there off more times than Katie prices knickers.
Request in sattalite request thread for a test line for the old c/s if anyone still does them
