This is how it works on the Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Fire TV Cube, and Smart TVs with Fire TV: You select your Fire TV as a menu entry in the area My Fire TV, then select the About section. Now you confirm this selection until the message pops up that you are a developer. So it runs very similar to Android smartphones and tablets.
