Fish and Chips

They do all sorts, Sales phone week up front and take your order and payment and tell you the day of delivery.

Each to their own. Tried alot of fish but I am just so used to Cod.

Will say whatever type of fish it is haveing fresh fish cooked same day it arrives is amazing.

Favourite food baz. I eat fish about 3 times a week. 🤤

You can post it in here 🙂.

I actually thought someone would say that after I asked. You didn't disappoint 😂.

You should try masala fish but not for everyone 😂😂😂

Do agree fish is beautiful with chips obviously but also rice imo.

Never tied with rice had it on roti and naan bread

Ye its nice with that also but with salad and yoghurt mint sauce cant have it plain lol.

But try with rice its really nice especially fish curry. I find more than indian/pakistani the bengalis make the best fish curry. Its their specialist dish.

I'd eat chippy fish every day if I thought my heart could stand it but even though it's my fav I can't have it deep fried too often.
I'm an old fart.
I have poached salmon and smoked mackerel, tinned tuna, sardines and BBQ trout as well as cod and haddock fillets but for the latter two I usually get the 'lightly dusted' fillets from Aldi now. I prefer any fish to chicken, steak, bacon etc or anything else

Grilling the fish or BBQ for a short period of time it comes out brilliant and amazing. I usually have a variety of vegetables and roast potatoes with it when I do it this way.

Personally from experience mate pakistani and indian takeaways/restaurants to do nice fish curry but if you have a bengali takeaway/restaurant near you they are the best for fish curry mate imo. Their spices and way they cook fish curry is amazing and best I have had tbh.

Morrisons give a great cod fillet. Really good size and really fresh. I tend to steam and grill the fish when I make it as tried frying it a few times but never comes out as good as the chippy.

Steam and grilled fish is truly mouth watering and at times prefer it to being fried.
