Glenn Loovens and Shaun Maloney are doubts for the first leg of Celtic's Champions League play-off against Arsenal at Parkhead tonight.

The Dutch defender was replaced after 50 minutes of Saturday`s Clydesdale Bank Premier League win at Aberdeen with a niggling knee injury while Maloney limped off near the end with a knock and both will be assessed tomorrow after training today.


Gary Caldwell will return to the Hoops defence after being suspended for the trip to Pittodrie.


Arsenal have injury doubts over Bacary Sagna, Cesc Fabregas and Denilson.


Sagna took a knock in Saturday's 6-1 win over Everton while Denilson (groin) and Fabregas (hamstring) will also be assessed although Gunners boss Arsene Wenger believes the Spaniard has a better than 50-50 chance of playing.


Midfielder Abou Diaby has recovered from a groin injury but England forward Theo Walcott is still out with a back complaint and defender Johan Djourou (knee) remains on the sidelines.

they gave the ball away far too cheaply noel, tonight should have been their chance to scare the pants off the @rse by constantly getting stuck into them. I wouldn't give up all hope for the next leg, a couple of injuries, a rub of the green, and who knows what might happen....
