I am getting this error at the end of the process. The image on the box was OPenATV 6.2 2019-12-03

Code:
ofgwrite Utility v4.5.5
Author: Betacentauri
Based upon: mtd-utils-native-1.5.1 and busybox 1.24.1
Use at your own risk! Make always a backup before use!
Don't use it if you use multiple ubi volumes in ubi layer!

Complete Putty log also attached.

As an interim process, can you re-post the instructions without flashing the box.

If you are not using anything specific/custom to invoke ofgwrite, please let me know. I have BetaCentauri on my Skype contacts and can liaise with him. However, flashonline/image Manger works fine.

Just in case you need it

EDIT: I see the instructions are
Code:
wget -O $BACKUP_DIR/latestforgrogbuild/latestimage.zip $imageurl && unzip $BACKUP_DIR/latestforgrogbuild/latestimage.zip -d $BACKUP_DIR/latestforgrogbuild/ && cd $(find $BACKUP_DIR/latestforgrogbuild/  -type d  -maxdepth 2 2> /dev/null|sed '$!d') && ofgwrite  -r -k $( [[ ! -z "$MULTIBOOT" ]] && printf %s '-m'$MULTIBOOT' ')./

There is an extra space before "- r", but that should not matter. I have sent BetaCenatauri a message

this has been reported by someone else with a different box and they ended up flashing an older blank atv (6.1) and then ran the setup and it flashed fine.

I really don't know what the issue is, basically the script is just downloading and unzipping the latest image and then using ofgwrite to flash. It looks like ofgwrite isn't liking the downloaded image

OK, maybe an issue with ofgwrite changes. We'll soon find out.

Can you psot teh other script you deleted please?

Grog's original script?
Code:
wget --no-check-certificate -O ~/grogbuild-atv.sh http://www.dropbox.com/s/z8wqyrb1ig7vepd/grogbuild-atv.sh?dl=1 && chmod 744 ~/grogbuild-atv.sh && ~/grogbuild-atv.sh

Just for info, the flash ATV by command line is not working too.

Would you know what version of ofgwrite the other person used? Will help to track down what changes could have caused it.

Grog's original script?
Code:
wget --no-check-certificate -O ~/grogbuild-atv.sh http://www.dropbox.com/s/z8wqyrb1ig7vepd/grogbuild-atv.sh?dl=1 && chmod 744 ~/grogbuild-atv.sh && ~/grogbuild-atv.sh

Thanks, but that file is not on drop box

Maybe someone will have the grogbuild-atv.sh on their PC.

Code:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mi1irvk2m07f489/grogbuild-atv.sh?dl=1
try that, I have two on there grogbuild-atv and then grogbuild-atv-new but the new one is older than the other so anyones guess as to which is the one to use now lol.

Edit: Note that this one won't have things like E2istream installed as I've not updated this script in a long time

When the image is inflated, there is a sub-directory. Betacentauri said ofgwrite does not check for sub-directories.

Code:
Searching image files in ./ resolved to /media/hdd/atvimage/update/force1plus

Code:
Searching image files in /media/hdd/atvimage/update/force1plus/cfe resolved to /media/hdd/atvimage/update/force1plus/cfe

Manually invoked it and flashed on line 116

hmm so they are not using the traditional /zgemma/h3 type structure

why is there an update folder if it's a new flash?

actually this bit of code should move to the correct folder

Code:
cd $(find $BACKUP_DIR/latestforgrogbuild/  -type d  -maxdepth 2 2> /dev/null|sed '$!d')

The name of the folders is irrelevant, it just assumes there a two sub directories ie update/force1plus it doesn't allow for the 3rd folder /cfe

I have changed the code above in the script so it goes down a max of 4 tiers of folder, so it should work now

No joy still

Code:

Am I doing the wrong file? Flash vs Grog.

Am I doing the wrong file? Flash vs Grog.

Just to confirm that the grogbuild script now works. It sits at 28% for a while before rebooting.

Thanks @grog68.

Hopefully the flash file will be updated too.

sorry it was the main script I changed - the flashmybox4.me script, not the installatv.sh script.

I've just updated the installatv script

Hello, I am writing here because I have a similar issue.

I am trying to see how Grobbuild works but I am running into issues. I watched the youtube video, went to the site and started.

I used the code in the site. This is my error I got from terminal:
